Soul Bound

Soul Bound is an action-adventure set in a mythic afterlife where African art, names and the Jam theme (connect) guide the journey. 

Players follow Neo (Sesotho – “gift”)and Nai(Swahili – “purpose/goal”), soulmates whose unbreakable vow spans three realms. Earth, the perilous Afterlife, and the radiant Heavens. After the living world collapses, they awaken in the limbo between life and eternity, their spirits separated from their bodies. To reunite and ascend, they must fight through shifting celestial landscapes and reclaim their souls. 

The first trial is ruled by Samakaka(Angolan/Chokwe), a fearsome demon that must be conquered to enter the portal to the next challenge. African influences shape every detail: from character names drawn from diverse languages to patterns and motifs inspired by traditional sculpture. 

Soul Bound, put together with a Pan-African feel, tells a universal story of connection and resilience. Will Neo and Nai conquer Samakaka’s realm and keep their eternal promise?
